Senior Solution Strategist – Supplier Acceptance

In this role you will be a part of the revenue optimization team at CSI, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer.  You will oversee strategic supplier relationships and offer the best payment solutions to these suppliers to create optimum value for all members of the payment ecosystem — the supplier, the buyer, and CSI.  As the Senior Strategist – Supplier Acceptance, you will be the expert on CSI’s payment solutions, their value proposition and competitive differentiation.  You’ll stay on top of the payments industry, as it relates to supplier acceptance, and know-how to position CSI’s payment solutions to optimize the supplier experience.

This is an on-site opportunity at our headquarters in Bonita Springs, FL. We’re also open to candidates that would be based out of either our Dallas or New York offices.

The responsibilities

  • Grow and manage the portfolio of CSI’s proprietary payment and card-accepting suppliers
  • Develop and execute long-term supplier acceptance strategies for revenue growth
  • Identify revenue opportunities within the supplier portfolio through your own analysis and working cross-functionally across the organization
  • Identify and develop relationships with key suppliers to improve card acceptance through continuous communication aimed at understanding supplier pain points with acceptance
  • Lead strategic deal-making efforts to offer CSI’s proprietary payment solutions to suppliers
  • Develop our product strategy and go-to-market approach of supplier-focused payment solutions
  • Stay on top of and communicate trends in the payments industry as it relates to supplier acceptance

The qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years in the payments industry, preferably on the merchant side
  • Minimum 3-5 years in growth environments focused on developing new revenue opportunities
  • Proven track record of driving portfolio growth
  • Experience in solution consulting, strategy development, or product marketing – business development experience a plus
  • Experience with data mining or working with data teams to uncover revenue opportunities
  • Experience developing and maintaining B2B partnerships a plus
  • Undeniable understanding of the payments industry
  • Understanding of interchange and rebate constructs
  • Bachelor’s degree a must, MBA a plus
  • Strong analytic skills
