CSI Annual Golf Tournament Supports Charities
CSI Enterprises, Inc., an established leader in the financial services industry, held their Annual Golf Tournament at the Resort of Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California during the week of January 2-7. The Tournament, five years running, includes participants from varying backgrounds and corporate relationships brought together to play the time honored game of golf with the purpose of raising money and awareness for charities in need and local communities.
This year, CSI proudly presented a check for $13,500 to the George Gervin Youth Center in San Antonio, Texas and another check for $2,500 to Elk Rapids High School Football Team in Elk Rapids, Michigan. Previous charity benefactors in past years include: Special Olympics, Junior Achievement, and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
“We are extremely grateful for the funds that the CSI Annual Golf Tournament has provided for our organization,” said George Gervin, founder of The George Gervin Youth Center located in San Antonio, Texas. “Furthermore,” said Gervin, “these funds help us carry out the mission of the Center which is to provide training, education, mentoring, tutoring, job placement and supportive services for nearly 1,400 at-risk and disadvantaged youth and their families.”
