Position Overview

CSI is looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager with the core purpose to engage our audience through clear articulation of the Corporate Spending Innovations value proposition across a variety of print and digital mediums. He/She will create content for digital and print consumption and create and manage the content necessary to tell a compelling and differentiated story, collaborating with key stakeholders from within the business. They will assist the Marketing team to enrich our website and company materials with powerful messaging, as well as marketing and social media content. Ultimately, they will deliver quality content that appeals to our audiences, attracts customers, delivers sales leads, and increases brand awareness.



  • Create concise, eye-catching, and innovative headlines and body copy
  • Research and organize facts and sources
  • Interview sources
  • Consistently brainstorm and collaborate with Marketing team for new ideas and strategies
  • Build a following for brand on social media with creative work
  • Research markets and industries to compare and create content that is innovative and original
  • Write on a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (website, articles, social updates, case studies, etc.)
  • Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
  • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
  • Promote content on social media
  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Identify competitor’s strengths and weaknesses to position the company as industry thought leaders
  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, and tone)

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, journalism, English, or related field preferred
  • Three to four years’ experience writing for a B2B company (financial industry, a must)
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Google Docs
  • Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones
  • Creative and innovative thinker and writer
  • Confident in producing work across multiple platforms
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Experience doing research using multiple sources
  • Able to align multiple brand strategies and ideas
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Self-motivated, self-directed and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
  • Knowledge of the payments, banking, card industry a strong plus
  • Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO
  • Impeccable spelling and grammar
  • A deep understanding of what motivates the company’s target markets
