Job Purpose

The Senior Program Manager’s (SPM) primary function is to manage one or more Strategic Program partners within the AP for Software/Embedded Software service offerings. Typically, these single strategic partnerships will involve multiple client relationships and multiple product deployments within each relationship. The SPM will be responsible for leading or coordinating the account team from implementation to long term Program growth. The incumbent will operate in support of CSI’s solutions through informing partner about the execution process; expectation setting; identifying and planning Program scope and parameters; monitoring Program progress against an established Program timeline; measuring the progress of a Program against set goals and objectives; providing proactive visibility to various CSI support teams regarding deployment progress; and evaluating Program outcomes and long-term program success in support of established key performance indicators (KPIS) and objectives and key results (OKRs).

 

Job Functions

  • Support program by providing expertise regarding Objective Planning, Program Design and Deployment Planning, and Training and Results
  • Interact with Partner and internal CSI teams to ensure the highest quality overall partner experience aligned with program objectives achievement
  • Plan and execute Program phase expansions aligned with partner vision for program growth
  • Develop and maintain program charter including timeline, scope of work, work breakdown structure and associated deliverables
  • Delegate tasks and deliverable to appropriate CSI resources and ensure that these tasks and deliverables are completed according to Program timeline
  • Track and control program plan, deliverables, milestones and Program issues
  • Provide weekly Program status reporting at the Executive level, highlighting milestones, variation to plan, potential risk and performance against KPIs and OKRs
  • Measure Program progress against expectations and established timeline; assess issues and implement countermeasures
  • Manage the flow of information and communication with program team counterparts
  • Escalate critical issues to both client and support teams
  • Train Buyer Clients on CSI processes and tools
  • Assess overall program effectiveness against goals and objectives defined in Program Design
  • Maintain metrics and reporting for each Program and communicate progress to team at regular intervals
  • Analyze data and provide insight regarding the overall program
  • Participate in formal communication and status (e.g., scorecard) with Executive sponsor and executive team
  • Participate in all training activities
  • Travel may be required according to partnership Program needs
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

 

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Management, Marketing, Business or other related field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of Program management experience in a SaaS environment required
  • AP Automation or Payments Sales experience a plus
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of key concepts of AP, AP Payments, Business Process Improvement
  • Experience working within the Finance function
  • Proven ability to establish, develop, and manage relationships with senior executives. Ability to understand and manage the business and personal factors that influence decision-making
  • Certification in Program Management from a recognized institution preferred
  • Prior management consulting experience preferred
  • Startup / high-growth technology firm experience preferred
  • Ability to establish program management standards and procedures within a PMO
  • Tolerant of a range of Program types, from vague to well-defined, simple to complex, implementation to innovation; strong analytical thinking in both technical and commercial matters
  • Experience with Financial / Operational business systems analysis
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office / Excel / Power Point
  • Strong customer management and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate with diverse cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
